Established in 1994 in the MRC des Pays-d’en-Haut, Soupe & Compagnie has become a cornerstone of the community. Much more than a simple soup kitchen, this non-profit organization works to ensure food security while providing a welcoming space where individuals can break isolation. With more than 15,000 meals served annually, the organization offers community lunches, food baskets, wellness workshops, and special events — creating valuable opportunities for connection and mutual support.

Soupe & Compagnie’s unique approach, which places people at the centre of its mission, reflects its philosophy of non-judgmental hospitality and its commitment to positively transforming the lives of everyone who walks through its doors.

 Challenges 

In a context where social and food security needs continue to grow, especially since the pandemic, Soupe & Compagnie faced several important challenges. The organization needed to modernize its brand image to better reflect the scope and diversity of its mission, which extends far beyond food distribution.

It was essential to reposition the organization as a major player in social development in the Pays-d’en-Haut, capable of attracting new volunteers, raising community awareness of its multiple services, and making information more accessible for people in need. The existing image did not effectively communicate the richness of its programs or demonstrate the organization’s transformative impact on the community.

In addition, Soupe & Compagnie wanted to strengthen its communication capabilities to better promote its special events, wellness workshops, and food waste reduction initiatives. It was necessary to create professional, consistent communication tools that respected the sensitivity of the target audience while valuing the dignity of the people supported.

The complete redesign of the website was at the heart of this digital transformation. The new platform clearly presents the organization’s expanded mission, makes it easier for beneficiaries to access information, and simplifies processes for potential volunteers and donors. The intuitive architecture guides visitors toward appropriate resources based on their specific needs.

Consistent communication tools were created to support the organization’s various activities, including the promotion of community events, wellness workshops, and awareness campaigns. These tools respect the audience’s sensitivity while highlighting the organization’s positive impact.
